A small entrance for a great restaurant! They serve a superb selection of mezze that you can wash down with some Raki (a strong local drink with a flavour of aniseed). The seabass was delicious and it was made better with a glass of wine.a truly enjoyable experience!

I really liked this place, much more quiet and real than the majority of the restaurants around. I had a nice zucchini and eggs fried starter and a very well grilled sea brim. The presentation is simple but the people are lovely and itt reminds me of those old taverns in Italy I used to go with my granny as a kid. Thanks!!

First day in Istanbul, and where to go….where to go…. Stumbled upon this great place and almost walked by and missed it! Great service and great friendly staff. Food was fantastic and the coffee was even better. Highly recommended for a foreign visitor that’s looking for a low pressure authentically prices and authentically prepared food. Will probably aim to come back again before I leave.

Great selection of food and not just another kebab store. Here you’ll experience Turkish food in an authentic way. If you are overwhelmed with the selection, the service will be top notch.

This restaurant was hard to find and was part of the food tour. The appetizers were good. Beside the hair is it. It needs deep cleaning and no smoking inside rule. Service was good.

Finally some traditional like place in the middle of the tourist area. Only place where it was not about taking your money only. 200TL/person for a dinner with appetizer and beer. 1 bottle of water for free is a nice gesture. Owner is friendly and the place has a nice vibe. If you going to have a proper meal for reasonable price in Taksim, go here.

Almost missed one of the most delicious experiences of our last two months of traveling. We felt so welcomed. The food was truly homemade with love and the prices were reasonable and up front. We can’t wait to go back!
